Texture
It is made with shea butter as its most dominant ingredient. Shea butter is naturally quite firm and needs to be warmed up in your hands before it is a consistency that can be applied into your hair. It has a similar texture to shea butter. This product needs to be warmed up in your hands/fingertips before applying. Keep in mind this general principle: thicker product = more moisture.

How can you use it?
Can be used on wet or dry hair. Take a small amount and rub between palms to warm it up and soften it. Apply directly to hair to get a smoother look. Scrunch into curls to promote bounce while enriching the curls.
Bonus Tip:
A little Hair Parfait goes a long way, so when styling use a fingertip amount at a time until you have achieved your desired look. It’s very easy to go overboard with this potent product, so make sure you gradually add it in as needed.
How I use it
I love using this when I feel like my curls need an extra boost of moisture. Since my tips can become very dry and brittle, I often use it on my tips. If I don’t have time for a deep conditioner, then I’ll use the parfait throughout my strands. I’ll seal it off with a gel.
I find that Alikay Naturals Crème Brulee Curling Delight pairs nicely with this product! Since the parfait has a thick, almost hard consistency, a creamy and soft gel works nicely with it.
I use this product combination when I want my curls to have long lasting moisture and definition.
