For years, the idea of shine and curly hair seemed like an unattainable dream to me. My curls were often dry and matte, while I looked on enviously at those with silky straight hair that gleamed like the models in Pantene adverts.
But fear not! I've discovered a method to achieve glossy curls that shine with vitality.

Enter the Squish to Condish technique:
After applying Bouclème Curl Conditioner to my soaking wet hair and letting it sit for a few minutes, I gather a pool of cool water in my cupped hands. Then, I gently cup a section of my curls into this water pool and scrunch them upward, creating a squelching sound. I repeat this process a few times for each section of hair. I've found that this technique significantly enhances shine and promotes healthy, glossy curls without making them stringy.
To further enhance shine and moisture retention, I incorporate hair oil into my conditioner/shampoo. There are so many super luxurious ones to choose from, but right now I've been loving Bouclème Revive 5 Hair Oil (UV Protection).

With my hair still very wet from the Squish to Condish method, I apply my favourite hair oil, focusing on the ends of my curls. This helps to seal in moisture and nourish the hair.
Finally, I proceed to style my hair using Bouclème Curl Cream and Bouclème Curl Defining Gel as usual. Once dry, I'm left with glossy, shiny curls that radiate health and vitality.
With these simple steps, achieving glossy curls has become a reality, transforming my curly hair routine and leaving me with hair that shines as brightly as I've always imagined.
