So happy I bought this set on CurlyLifes recommendations (I sent them some pics of my hair). I have fine 3a/2c hair and this has totally changed my curls! Previously I was using boucleme curl creme and bounce curl gel but it turned out they were too heavy and my hair apparently doesn't like oil!

I waited a while to write this review, it took me a few tries to get the hang of the technique with the brush as I'm no beauty expert. Now I LOVE it. I apply curl cream all over, then section my hair, apply gel to each section, brush it, then brush again but using the curl edge, then I shake each section. After I've done all the sections, I scrunch with a cotton t-shirt, then skim apply a little more gel. The brush creates even looking curls, and it allows me to let my hair air-dry in a nice pattern. This brush has exceeded my expectations. I've been considering getting one for a long time but decided to finally do it. I thought surely I can just achieve the same effect with my fingers - but I was struggling to finger curl or even define my curls when styling so the difference now is huge! It's so easy to use and my curls are looking better than ever!

Despite my years with a dedicated curly hairdresser, and multiple brands of “the right products”, my curls were getting limper and less curly. Like almost straight kind of “less”.
After washing my long, very thick hair yesterday, I sprayed some Sangria in and then applied Lemon Buttercream - awesome curls! And it all smells yummy! Yay!
Last night I popped my hair up loosely in a silk scrunchy because it was irritating me (it’s summer!), and so I woke with bed head and the obligatory horizontal “dent” across the length of my hair.
I didn’t wet my hair this morning - I just sprayed Sangria in it. Enter perfect curls for Day 2! The horizontal dent just fell right out and there were very few knots underneath when I usually accumulate a nest in half a day.
I’m actually genuinely surprised at how good it is! Worth a try!
