Bounce Curl Defining Butta

I really like it, but I also ordered the shampoo and conditioner, when the order comes I will use them together and see. !

Even though I don't have coily/kinky hair, I love how it the butta still works wonders in my hair and leaves it very soft and manageable to work with. It works amazing on my 4yr. old son's coily hair.

Bought this for my daughter who has frizzy curly hair and it works well! Smells good too. It left her hair soft and manageable but no frizz. Will be buying this product again.

I have thick, coarse, dry 2C/3A hair, and my thick locks love this stuff. It is my holy grail of curl creams.

There's a reason this has so many 5-star reviews, it's wonderful. I have super thick, very porous 3B curls and I am always trying to find a way to cut down on the amount of products I use, for my wallet and the planet's sake. I have used other creams in the past but nothing was ever quite moisturising enough. This cream is super thick and hella moisturising, my curls are so soft I can barely believe it, and they still last for days. I would not recommend using it with a gel on top as that left my hair crinkly and dry. This cream dries with its own cast that is easy to break with dry scrunching. I also skipped a leave-in conditioner and oil that I sometimes use after I shampoo. I used BC Clarifying Shampoo, BC Cream Conditioner, and this cream - THAT'S IT! I am in awe. My hair looks and feels healthy, shiny, and juicy. It is never this well behaved. I think I found my favourite styler.

This product is thick and rich, great quality and the smell is sooo amazing. Not to mention the shipping was super fast. What a wonderful woman owned business! I’m definitely going to keep supporting ❤️

Im still experimenting with this on my 3a type curl which is low pirosity but very porus and dense. I know this is marketted for 4a+ but so far it hasnt been too heavy for me and works well but still experimenting on products amounts for me personally.

Rarely does a product deliver what's promised. I'm super excited and frankly, shocked by the wonderful hydration and defined curls!

I know this product is meant for type 4 hair but I have type 3/2 hair and I still love it! I just use a small amount because if you use too much it can be heavy. It’s very hydrating and I like it as a one and done styler when I just want to hydrate my curls & get some definition & frizz control, but I’m too lazy to do a full routine of leave in/cream/gel ect. Usually by day 3 my hair feels “crunchy” from being dry but not with this product. My hair feels soft for days. I obviously get more definition when I use gel but I still love this product. I think it’s good for anyone who has course, curly medium/high porosity hair. If you have low porosity hair that struggles to hold a curl I don’t think it’d work for you.

I love the way the defining butta makes my curls look but it’s too soon to tell! I’m giving it a week or two before I make a final decision

I accidentally bought the wrong one but I will continue to use it some nights that I wash my hair. Really moisturises and it smells great!

Wow. .. so I initially thought this defining butta was going to be too heavy for my coarse-medium type 2/3 hair. However, it craves moisture especially in the winter. My waves and curls were more defined and moisturised. .. and I still had volume! Love it!

I have 3b hair and this stuff is great! It does a god job moisturising and defining my curl pattern! I have shared this product with my family and friends and will continue to purchase! Their gel is really good too! Better than deva curl in my opinion!

Absolutely love the smell of the butta along with the added benefit of the moisture it gives to my curly hair. My husband was sleeping next to me and kept waking up wondering what that wonderful smell was until he finally realised it was my hair. This will definitely be a repurchase for me.

I LOVE this product! My 3c-4a curls are ultra hydrated and are still curly a week later. After I washed and conditioned my hair, I added a little Argan oil to my wet hair and then used this product as a leave in and the moisture locked in. I’ve already ordered more and I’m not close to empty on the first one. My curls have never looked so bouncy and healthy. I decided to try this butter when it kept popping up in web ads; I needed more moisturising as the warmer weather has set in. I’ve combed it through as a no rinse conditioner once since purchase and it is very moisturising. Loved the softness and texture of my 4a curls on days 1 and 2. Leaves no white residue. Might need a sealant to make the texture last for another couple days. Will definitely repurchase for that extra deep conditioning.

First things first, it smells AMAZING okay? Okay! And it also doesn’t leave your hair feeling all crunchy or anything like that. I just love how my hair looks when it’s all dried up with this hair product. All stars from me 🥲

When I first used this product my hair was absorbing it so much, it was like my hair was thirsty for this product. My hair was screaming Where were you my whole life!!! My hair felt super hydrated. .. . this has been the only product so far that has been able to hydrate my hair. Totally love the smell! This is some amazing stuff. You should definitely get it !

Nothing else needed !. .. wash once a week , co wash or just wet, add the butta, comb thru and finger coil or just scrunch. Leaves hair soft and no frizz!

My hair is extremely dry. And with this cream, it makes my hair so soft, shiny and look very well hydrated. Definitely will keep using it.

I loved the smell!! I got it for myself but it ended up being a bit too greasy for my hair so I tried it on my son/daughter and it worked great for them! I ended up getting the avocado one after this and that was perfect for me.

I cannot come up with enough words to say how much I LOVEEEEE THIS! My curls definition was out of this world and I love applying it on wet or dry hair when my curls need a little love!

I really love this Defining Butta! I'd describe my curls as 3b/3c and they really craved this moisture during the winter. It definitely defines your hair so if you're one to layer products I'd say to put this under a lighter hold gel or else the crunch will be extreme. You don't need a lot for it to work and the tub is huge so it'll take me a while to run out! It also smells great, like all Bouncecurl products! Compared to the clump and define cream, it's definitely heavier and you don't need as much. I think it really depends on how much moisture you think you need, although I'm not sure if I would put this on type 2 curls. Overall I love this product and would totally recommend it!
