Why you'll love it

Volume, definition and shine from one routine. Curl routines usually lose out somewhere. You get definition but the roots go flat, or you get lift and the curls fall out by lunchtime. This bundle layers three Sweet Hibiscus formulas in the order that gives you all three at once, and throws in a set of scrunchies to protect the result overnight. Soften, lift, seal.

Sweet Hibiscus Curl Activating Lotion
The base layer. Honey-derived conditioning agents, coconut oil, shea butter and olive oil soften and smooth, while hibiscus, lotus flower and burdock root do the curl work. It glides on without heaviness and gives you the soft, defined starting point that everything else builds on. It is also the one to reach for mid-week when curls need reviving.

Sweet Hibiscus Curl Volumizing Foam
This is where the lift comes from. A light maltodextrin copolymer foam with rice and soy proteins that builds body at the root and through flat sections, without the wet, heavy feel of an old-school mousse. Two or three pumps is genuinely enough.

Sweet Hibiscus Curl Defining Gel
The seal. Citrus peel pectin and xanthan gum give flexible hold, sweet almond and grapeseed oils stop it going brittle, and marshmallow root and rice protein hold the shape. Defined curls that still move.

Free scrunchie set
Three scrunchies included, colours selected at random. Gentle on your curl pattern, no dents and no snapping, and the easiest way to protect your definition between wash days.

What makes it different

  • Three formulas built to layer. Same Sweet Hibiscus range, same botanicals, so nothing pills, flakes or separates when you stack them. Mixing brands is where most layered routines go wrong.
  • Volume is the missing piece. The foam is what most curl routines do not have. If your definition is fine but your roots go flat by day two, this is the product that fixes it.
  • Curly Girl Method friendly. No silicones, sulfates, parabens or mineral oils across all three, so nothing needs a harsh shampoo to remove.
  • Built on real botanicals. Hibiscus, lotus flower, marshmallow root, burdock root and calendula run through all three formulas, alongside sweet almond, grapeseed, coconut and castor oils.
  • Authorised Australian stockist. Genuine Flora & Curl, shipped from our Gold Coast warehouse, backed by qualified curl specialists who use these products in the salon every day.

Worth knowing before you buy: this range contains protein. Rice, soy and wheat proteins run through all three formulas, which is part of what gives the strength and the volume, but if protein-heavy routines leave your hair stiff, start with the lotion and gel and add the foam once you know how your hair responds. All three carry a natural essential oil aroma with citrus and floral notes. Scrunchie colours are selected at random and cannot be chosen.

Across all three
Free from silicones, sulfates, parabens, mineral oils and artificial fragrance. Curly Girl Method friendly, vegan and never tested on animals. All three contain hydrolysed proteins (rice, soy or wheat), so this range is not the right fit for protein-sensitive curls.

How to use

Your 3-step Glow Up routine
Work on soaking wet or freshly damp hair straight out of the shower. Water is what lets these formulas clump your curls instead of coating them. If your hair dries out mid-application, add more water rather than more product.

Step 1: Curl Activating Lotion
Section your hair first. Apply the lotion through each damp section, focusing on mid-lengths and ends, and smooth it down the length. This softens, detangles and gives you the defined base everything else layers onto.

Step 2: Curl Volumizing Foam
Pump two or three times into your hands, then apply through the hair while smoothing it down. Concentrate on the roots and any flat sections. Let the curls form before you touch them again.

Step 3: Curl Defining Gel
Distribute evenly over wet or damp hair, scrunching upwards section by section to lock the shape in. This is the layer that makes the definition last.

Step 4: Dry
Air dry to set, or use a diffuser on low heat for faster drying and extra volume. Hands off until it is completely dry. Touching curls mid-dry is the number one cause of frizz.

Refreshing on day 2 and 3
Lightly apply the foam to dry hair to bring flat sections back to life, or spritz with water and smooth a small amount of the activating lotion through for a curl pick-me-up.

Overnight
Use one of your scrunchies to gather your curls loosely on top of your head in a pineapple before bed. It keeps the definition and the volume intact so you get more days out of one wash.

Get more from it

  • Section your hair before you start. Layering three products on unsectioned hair is how you end up with patchy definition.
  • Add water, not more product, if a section feels dry or grabby.
  • Dry with a microfibre towel or an old cotton tee, never a regular bath towel.
  • The foam is the piece most people under-use. If your roots look flat, use more of it, not more gel.
