Moptop Curly Hair Custard

Most stylers make you pick between hold and softness. This custard does both, because the hold comes from plant gums rather than heavy polymers.

Honey and silk amino acids draw moisture in. Three seaweed extracts add slip and shine. Willow bark, rosemary and nettle look after the scalp. The result is defined curls you can actually touch.

Moptop was started by Kelly Foreman, inspired by her daughters' very different hair textures. She spent twenty years perfecting the formulas and consulted more than 200 stylists along the way.

For the best results, follow these simple steps:

1. Section your hair while it is still soaking wet.
2. Apply evenly from root to tip, section by section. The less texture your hair has, the less product you need.
3. Style as you normally would, raking or brushing through to distribute it.
4. Use an ionic diffuser if you can. It helps your hair and the product dry at the same rate, which is what sets the curl.
5. Once your hair is 70 to 80% dry, scrunch to break the cast and avoid any crunch.
6. Leave it alone until it is completely dry.
