Why you'll love it

The contents of each box will vary. It might be slightly over or under $300 in value. This is because each box is put together by our curl experts specifically to meet your goals. Due to the time and dedication put into these, please allow 2-3 business days for processing.

Please kindly note we cannot accept exchanges since these boxes come as a package and take a lot of time and labour to put together.

How to use

How to use your type 2 kit
The exact products in your box are chosen for you, so this is the routine to run them in. Waves are the easiest curl type to flatten, so the whole approach is about doing less rather than more.

  1. Cleanse the scalp, not the lengths. Apply your cleanser directly to the scalp on wet hair, massage with the pads of your fingers, and let the suds rinse down through the lengths on their own.
  2. Condition the mid-lengths and ends only, and keep it well away from your roots. Detangle from the ends upwards with your fingers or a wide tooth comb while the conditioner is still in.
  3. Rinse with cool water, then style straight away on soaking wet hair. Waves need more water than any other curl type and they need it while you work.
  4. Apply your styler with your head flipped forward, scrunching upwards from the ends towards the scalp. Start with less than you think you need. Over-applying is the single most common reason waves come out flat and stringy.
  5. Squeeze out excess water with a microfibre towel or an old cotton tee, still upside down, never a bath towel.
  6. Diffuse on low heat with your head upside down for volume at the root, or air dry for a softer, looser finish. Hands off until completely dry.
  7. Once dry, scrunch out any cast with your hands and shake the roots out at the scalp.

Pro tip
If your waves keep dropping out by the afternoon, the problem is almost never that you need a stronger product. It is that you applied it to damp hair instead of soaking hair, or that you touched it while it was drying.
