Uncle Funky's Daughter Curly Magic (Strong Hold Gel)

Have been looking for a gel that actually holds and defines my 3b curls and also comes in a jumbo size and I’ve finally found one! This is the best gel I’ve used so far and leaves me with definition for days, and virtually no frizz. I’m about to finish my first 523ml bottle and it has consecutively given me amazing results with each use.

Although it does feel wet for a while after application, air drying/putting my hair up in a towel turban has yielded the best results for me. Which is why I try not to go out/have somewhere to be for a good few hours after washing and styling. If I’m really on a time crunch I diffuse my hair and it looks lovely for an event, but the heat gives me way too much volume the following days so I don’t suggest doing that too often with this gel. Air drying works best!

I definitely recommended giving this a shot if you’re anything like me and want a low maintenance 1-2 product styling regimen without a bunch of brushes and tools. Although different tools might help enhance results (never tried it myself), finger combing and applying a light cream and this gel (or just the gel sometimes) and scrunching as directed has given me curls I love!
