Bouclème Curl Cleanser

This review is based on my hair 4-C kinky hair. This product changed my hair wash day. My wash day used to be 3.5-5 hours prior to using boucleme. Now, my entire “wash day” is 45 minutes. Here’s my routine: 1. I stand under the running shower head and let my hair get drenched (I no longer detangle, neither do I use a comb anymore! Yea, it’s a shocker) 2. I lightly fluff out my hair/pick small sections and pull upwards as it gets drenched- I proceed to wash without sectioning (my hair is medium length and comes to my shoulders when straightened) 3. As I wash, I focus on the scalp. I rub/wash my scalp with both hands; I go around my head and lightly wash as I go (the shampoo won’t foam) 4. Rinse out shampoo and condition for 15-20 mins (if I use heat, 10 minutes)- I rinse out, put in four sections and use a leave-in, light moisturiser. 5. When I’m ready to style, I lightly mist (if my hair has completely dried), and put my hair in a low bun. Game changer!

I bought this product while traveling because I ran out of my preferred shampoo and conditioner. I just needed something to last me the rest of trip and the fact that it was a 3-in-1 product and black-owned was enough for me to just grab it and go. Well, now I love this product. Because of the slip, it cuts down my detangling time and moisturises my hair if it’s feeling dry. I highly recommend and I wish it came in a larger bottle!

I have oily, long, straight hair down to my waist. I have to wash every day or my hair is just gross, and co-washing all but once or twice a week has been perfect for my hair. So I’ve tried almost every co-wash you can think of to keep from drying out my ends, and this is my favorite, hands down. My hair looks better after using this than when I use salon brand shampoo and conditioner. My hair is clean, shiny, full and smells amazing. I can’t stop touching it. My gray hairs even lay down, which I didn’t think was possible. This co-wash is amazing and I’ll be keeping this in my shower.

Doesn’t just sit on the hair. It actually moisturises. Great for natural hair. No more fuss from the kids on hair wash day.

Never new there was such a thing as co-wash. This product works for me between regular wash days. Easy, convenient and fast way to do in between hair care.

I have thick 2c curls and scalp problems due to allergies to a lot of stuff. This did not irritate my scalp, so I’m really happy about that!

I used this several times, as directed. This didn't dry out my hair and it did a great job of de-tangling. This has become my go to conditioner after riding in windy weather. Scent is very nice, pretty gender equal there. Pretty small amount works. Overall, I really like this product.

I use this in place of shampoo for co-washing. Basically washing my hair with conditioner. This products smells so good. I just love it. It helps my curls and softens my coarse hair.

I’ve been using for about a month and my hair loves it. It is very soft and smooth. I use a little bit of shampoo before just to clarify and I only have to wash my hair 1-2 times a week now. I love it!

I love that the co-wash is so moisturising and you don’t need to use a lot to wash your hair. It’s creamy, thick and keeps my hair so soft. The fact that it detangles my hair so well is a BIG plus!! The scent smells amazing as well!! I’m definitely a believer in this co-wash and will purchase it again!!

I have wiry curls and there are few products to wash curls that isn’t heavily scented. This one is not heavily scented and does a great job of cleaning my hair and scalp and detangling my curls that tend to mat up badly from moisture like humidity, swimming, sweat or just washing my hair

It has an amazing scent to it that I wouldn't mind if they made a perfume out of! You actually need a decent amount of this one to really get a good effect for your hair, which is a bit surprising to be honest but it works when you use a good amount. Your hair feels fantastic when you use this cleanser and looks great. It doesn't feel weighted down and just looks great. I can't wait to use more products from this line.

This co wash is great. My hair is pretty and soft. I will never use regular shampoo again.

I use this when I treat myself and my hair really shows it! I am not sure what curl type I am but whenever I used this shampoo my hair really showed it, it was so much more Lucious and curly , I need to buy more, writing this review reminded me! It really is worth the cost I mean I usually use the grocery store shampoo but again this shampoo, you can really tell a difference!

I've used a variety of boucleme products over the years. I had NO idea this product existed and now I can't be without it. I apply to soaking wet hair while in the shower and let the steam do its thing. Makes my hair soft. Only used it two times and will continue to use consistently to see the results.

Amazing fragrance and performance! My curly hair smells delicious, is not crunchy and shines like never before! Does not weigh my curls down. I've never had as much bounce in my curls before. I used Deva Curl for over a decade and this is SO much better! I use the whole line of products, and each one smells like citrus essential oil. This one smells like lime.

I've used a lot of different co-washes and this one is nice. I like the fragrance and it has a creamy cooling effect. It penetrates well and cleans the scalp efficiently and my hair did not tangle after rinsing. It's a nice gender neutral option. I used a fair amount - but I always do.

I have been using this product for a few years now and I love boucleme! My hair has been so much healthier.

This is my first time using THIS particular product from Boucleme and so far I'm loving it!!!! I use SEVERAL products from this line and I LOVE THEM ALL!!!!!!! Very moisturising!!!!

This is a good choice to give have a break from regular shampoos and conditioners. It's quick, too, for days when I'm in a rush and just want soft clean hair without a big fuss. Wash and go. No frizzies. Just soft gleaming strands of happy hair.

I have thick, fine textured wavy/curly hair. I shampoo once a week, but use this in between washes once or twice a week to freshen up, especially after a sweaty work out. Works great! It is very thick- make sure your hair is very wet to help distribute it through your hair!
