With our Volume & Hold Scrunching Gel, you can create perfectly defined, frizz-controlled curls full of bounce and natural shine! Thanks to a natural styling polymer derived from corn, the gel shapes your curls with flexible, medium hold.

Step 1: First, make sure your hair is still quite wet. If it has started to dry, use a spray bottle to re-wet it thoroughly. Rub the product between your palms and distribute it evenly through your wet hair.

Step 2: Gently but firmly scrunch the hair upward to encourage the curls to form and bounce. Ensure you’ve used enough product. If your hair tends to lose shape quickly, we recommend applying the gel in two layers.

Optional Step 3 for mega definition: If your hair loves extra hold, we recommend layering two gels. At Curl Bites, we call this the 2-Step Hold System, which provides maximum definition and hold.

Apply the Mega Definition Strong Hold Gel as your second gel to achieve strong hold and extra definition.

These two gels work perfectly together, offering long-lasting definition and just the right amount of lightness to achieve maximum volume and bounce.

Step 4: Use a diffuser on medium speed and medium heat to dry the hair. Rotate your head in all directions to increase volume as you dry.

Step 5: Once the hair is completely dry, scrunch it again to break the “gel cast,” leaving your hair super soft and smooth.
